While at school my son had a friend who, by the age 16, had learnt to fly and had her pilot’s license. I was so amazed by the tenacity and determination shown by this remarkable girl that it inspired a series of paintings. My Aviator Series celebrates the power to dream and what can be achieved when we refuse to limit ourselves.
