Getting the face right is probably the most important step in my paintings. Once the face is in and I’m happy with it the rest of the painting seems to fall into place. This is my latest acrylic on the easel, “I’d give you the moon”. It’s a 1m x 1m unframed acrylic/mixed media on canvas.
Now all I need to do is the moon in a box and a couple of dozen poppies and this one will be heading to Trafficjam Galleries, in Neutral Bay.
